The MCP server for social data

A remote server, so there is nothing to install. Claude and ChatGPT connect with a sign-in. Every other client uses one URL and your key.

OAuth: https://socialytics.dev/mcpKey: https://api.trendsmcp.ai/mcp

Remote, not a local package

The server runs on the web. No npx, no Node, no process to keep alive on a laptop or a CI runner.

Sign in instead of pasting a key

Claude and ChatGPT use OAuth: add the connector, sign in with your email, done. The key never sits in a config file.

5 tools, not hundreds

Each tool answers one question and takes the same few arguments on every platform, so agents choose correctly and spend little of the context window on tool definitions.

Answers an agent can cite

Every response carries dates, values and sources, so the agent can say where a number came from.

Connect your client

# Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector
Name Socialytics

Questions

Which clients work?

Any client that speaks MCP over HTTP. Claude and ChatGPT connect with OAuth. Cursor, VS Code with GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Windsurf, Cline and agent frameworks like LangChain use the remote URL with a Bearer key. Clients that only speak stdio use mcp-remote.

Is the key the same for MCP and REST?

Yes. One key, one quota, the same tools. Use MCP from an AI client and REST from code.

What does the free plan include over MCP?

Every tool except get_top_posts, 100 requests a month, and boards with the top 10 rows about 24 hours behind.

Connect in a minute

No card. 100 requests every month. REST and MCP on one key.
