What social data can my agent get?
Posts, videos, threads and their top comments for any topic, with views, likes, shares and replies; the trending boards of TikTok, X, YouTube, Reddit, Pinterest and more, most of them by country; daily TikTok hashtag views; top posts on a hashtag on TikTok and Instagram; and years of interest history on YouTube, Google and Pinterest.
Which platforms are covered?
TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, Pinterest, Bluesky and Hacker News for social, plus Google, Amazon, the app stores, Steam, Spotify, Wikipedia, GitHub and more. The platforms page lists exactly what each one returns.
Does it return profiles, followers or private data?
No. Socialytics is built around topics, hashtags and public posts: what people are posting, how much it is watched and how that changes over time. It does not return follower lists, private accounts or direct messages.
How does my agent connect?
Claude and ChatGPT add it as a connector and sign in with OAuth, no key. Cursor, VS Code, Claude Code, Windsurf and agent frameworks use the remote MCP URL with a key in a header. Code can call the same tools over REST.
What counts as a request?
History and growth calls are one request each, with every window and every platform you list in one get_growth call. Boards are one request per ten rows over MCP and one per call over REST. Posts and comments are one request per source you ask for.
Is there a free plan?
Yes. 100 requests every month, renewed monthly, with no card. Free boards show the top 10 rows, about 24 hours behind. Top posts on a hashtag are on the Business plan.
How is this different from a social media scraper?
A scraper returns one profile or one post as it looks right now, through hundreds of endpoints. Socialytics gives an agent a few tools that answer whole questions: what is trending, what people say about it, and whether it is growing or fading.
Do credits expire?
No. Credit packs never expire. They are used after your plan's monthly requests run out.
